College Tour Guide:

We are seeking an energetic and outgoing part-time (12 hrs. per week) tour guide. The individual must be a responsible, independent worker who can relate to a diverse student and family population as well as obtain and share key information related to the 19 different technical majors.

The tour guide position involves hosting campus tours and visiting the technical majors twice a day (at 10am and 1pm), three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) with prospective students, parents and high school groups. This individual will also conduct tours at the fall and spring open houses.

 The hourly rate for this position is $16.00/hour and the individual would enjoy also access to the college’s fitness center and other campus facilities.

Director of Development:

The Director of Development is a new position reporting directly to the President of the College.  This position is an opportunity to build a Development Program from the ground up.  Responsibilities include:  creation of a strategic fund-raising plan; identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of major donors; planned giving; special events; capital campaigns; and coordination with grant efforts and alumni planned giving. 

The following qualifications are required:  the ability to develop and maintain relationships, meet specific fund-raising goals, a bachelor's degree, and a personal belief in the vision, mission and legacy of the College and the ability to articulate a case for support based on the aforementioned, so that individuals "buy in" with sufficient effectiveness to secure donations.  Preference will be given to candidates with:  five years of fund-raising experience in education or a background in the financial sector coupled with volunteer fund-raising in the non-profit field; and a significant record of successful development efforts.
