ETRN221 Interfacing and Programming Microprocessors w/Lab (3 Credits)
Prerequisites: ETRN217
Course Description:
This course involves the interfacing of basic input and output devices at the chip level to microprocessors and microcontrollers and also includes their support ICs and common peripheral devices. Learning activities will include interfacing, programming (at assembly language level) and modifying existing assembly and C language code. Test equipment including DSOs, DVMs, logic analyzers, and data analyzers will be used in support of these activities.
