Lancaster, PA - On Thursday, September 27, 2018, Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology hosted the Annual IDEAL Nationals Qualifiers.

The IDEAL Nationals is a highly-charged, no-holds barred competition to determine the best electrician in North America. The event will take place on December 2 and 3 in Florida. To make it to the Championship Weekend, you have to qualify first. This year, competitors use their own IDEAL tools as they race against the clock to complete the challenge.

The top Professional and Student/Apprentice from each state/territory, the top five Professional and Student/Apprentice teams from the U.S., and the top Professional and Student/Apprentice team from Canada will advance to the Championship Weekend. In addition, the top 3 individual competitors from 2017 will be returning for their chance to defend their title.

Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology had 127 students compete from the ELEC, ECM and ELME programs.  Below are your top ten students and their times from today's event.
