Lancaster, PA—Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology students will have a clearer path to a bachelor’s degree, thanks to an agreement with Central Penn College to be signed this week.
The two colleges established an articulation agreement for their business and information technology programs that guarantees graduates of TSCT admission into the parallel program at Central Penn with up to 75 credits, or junior standing. TSCT vice president Zoann Parker and Central Penn Vice President of Academic Affairs/Provost Dr. Linda Fedrizzi-Williams will formally sign the agreement on Friday, May 5 at 1 p.m. in the Jones Conference Room on the Thaddeus Stevens campus.
“In today’s world, students need options, and this agreement will give graduates in two of our majors a clear path to a bachelor’s degree—if they so choose,” Parker said. “And they will still take advantage of technical training and affordability that Thaddeus Stevens is known for. It’s a true win-win.”
The agreement, known as a dual admission transfer agreement, allows TSCT students to apply for admission at Central Penn after earning 45 credits or at least six months prior to enrollment. Students will likely have an additional 65 or 66 credits to earn at Central Penn before receiving a bachelor’s degree.
