CRRSAA – HEERF II

The Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund II (HEERF II) is authorized by the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2021 (CRRSAA), Public Law 116-260, signed into law on Dec. 27, 2020. In total, the CRRSAA authorizes $81.88 billion in support for education, in addition to the $30.75 billion expeditiously provided last spring through the Coronavirus Aid, Recovery, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, Public Law 116-136. This report provides details on the emergency funds that Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology (TSCT) received under the HEERF II.

TSCT has received a total of $2,740,187 in HEERF II funding.

Distribution of Funds

The minimum amount that will be allocated to emergency grants directly to students will be $933,334.

The funds for the total allocation of funds for the student portion were deposited on April 26, 2021.

  • 901 paper checks were distributed to students in the amount of $933,740 on 05/07/2021.
  • $406 was used from the institutional portion to cover the overage allocated to the student portion.
  • The funds for the student portion have all been spent as of 4/26/2021.
