Planning for Greiner Advanced Manufacturing Center Underway

The crisis of the skilled labor shortage is confirmed daily at Thaddeus Stevens College as both students and industries anxiously await the grand opening of the Greiner Campus Facility.

Thaddeus Stevens College stands poised to give its students and faculty an advanced facility to succeed in the new economy. Evolving the outdated, former National Guard armory property on Chesapeake Street, the Campus is expected to catalyze fresh economic activity in the city’s southeast, home to the highest concentration of poverty in the county.

This new hub of learning will house the Metals Fabrication & Welding Technology, Welding Technology, Machine Tool & Computer Aided Manufacturing Technology and Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration, or HVAC&R.
