Six Trustees Confirmed to Thaddeus Stevens Board
Gov. Wolf appoints Cargas, Maguire, Sterner
Lancaster, PA—Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology is welcoming three members of its Board of Trustees.
The state Senate confirmed Gov. Wolf’s appointments of Donald “Chip” Cargas, Jr., Michael Maguire and Jeffrey Sterner in October. They join trustees Paul Hoffer, Patricia Hopson-Shelton and Richard Watson, whose reappointments were also confirmed.
Chip Cargas is
Michael Maguire assistant director of the political and legislative department at AFSCME Council 13. He is a graduate of Thaddeus Stevens, plumbing, Class of 1989. The Philadelphia native previously worked for Brubaker, Inc. and as a housing inspector for the City of Lancaster. He serves on the board of the Keystone Research Center, a Harrisburg think tank, and volunteers with various youth and high school sports organizations. His term runs until 2021.
