Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology Honors Academic, Teaching, and Community Service Excellence at Annual Awards Banquet

    Top honors included:

    • The Chick-Fil-A-Lancaster Positive Impact Educational Award was presented to Noah Tarr, Blairesville, PA, and Daniel Whithaus, Elizabethtown, PA. This award recognizes students who have demonstrated excellence throughout their experience at Stevens College, and includes a monetary award to reduce or eliminate a student’s loan obligation. The award was presented by Judy Shaffer, from Chick-Fil-A-Lancaster.
    • The Excellence in Teaching Award was presented to Vincent E Miles, Social Sciences professor with Thaddeus Stevens College. This award is presented by Dr. William Griscom, President of Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology. Candidates for this award are nominated by Stevens College students and selected by a committee of peer Faculty.
    • The Alex B. Munro Diversity Award was presented to Stephen P. Latta, Cabinetmaking and Wood Technology professor with Thaddeus Stevens College. The award recognizes individuals who perform in an exceptional manner to advance intercultural harmony, equity and campus diversity by making exceptional contributions to the College.
    • The Donald W. Jones Award is presented to graduating students who have achieved a 4.0 grade point average upon graduation. Six students were recognized for this outstanding academic achievement:
