Alumni

The Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology Alumni Association was formed by the Class of 1913. Graduates of two year degreed programs or equivalent are welcomed into the Alumni Association.

The Alumni Association

The purpose of the Alumni Association is to:

  • Build engagement throughout the College’s alumni base through annual giving as well as other ways of supporting the College to help raise its profile and welcome a growing student body.
  • Plan quality programs and events accessible to all alumni, providing opportunities for the alumni community to reconnect and support the interests of Thaddeus Stevens College.
  • Promote lifelong relationships throughout the College’s alumni, fostering a spirit of loyalty among graduates, current students, friends, and the community.
  • Create an engaged network of former graduates to support recruitment and diversity on the alumni board.
  • Honor the memory of Thaddeus Stevens.

The Alumni Association is governed by a Board of Governors who volunteer their time and oversee the many special events and reunions sponsored by the Alumni Association. If you have an interest in serving on the board and/or helping to plan events, please contact the Alumni Office.

The Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology Alumni Association currently has more than 9,000 living alumni in the United States. We encourage you to join the Alumni Association and stay connected with your alma mater!

Help Us Engage With You!

The College is conducting a project to update the contact information of our amazing alumni, along with collecting stories of their time at Stevens.

You’ll receive a postcard in the mail that looks like this:

Postcard for alumni engagement project 2024

The postcard will have the return address of the College’s Alumni Association, 740 East End Ave. in Lancaster, as well as the College’s logo. It looks like junk mail but we promise it is not!

If you call the number listed on the yellow postcard (or you may receive a follow up email with the same information), we would love it if you would take the time to call the number. Participation is optional. Those who call will first update their contact information, and then, if you have time and would like to share, you can answer a couple of questions about your time at Thaddeus Stevens College and the impact the school has had on your life. We LOVE to hear your stories!

The stories will be used to create a book of alumni stories that will be published as part of this project in May of 2025. We will also keep the details on hand and may use them in marketing or communications materials in future.

Following updating your contact information and sharing thoughts about Stevens if you so choose, the specialist who answered your call will then ask you optional questions regarding if you’d like to purchase any College merchandise and/or the book of stories we will be publishing. There is no obligation to make any purchases whatsoeverPlease note that the merchandise does not come from the College and cannot be purchased at our College Store (though it is branded). No funds from the purchases of merchandise will come back to the College. Purchases of the book will result in a $5 donation per book to the College.

We are so excited to continue to improve our connections with our alumni, and especially excited to hear your stories!

For any questions or thoughts regarding this project, please get in touch with Beth Valentin, Director of Alumni Engagement and Development, at valentin@stevenscollege.edu or 717-753-1263.You can also read through more FAQs related to this process here.
