The Career Services Office recently held a College Transfer Fair in the newly opened Learning Commons for students interested in continuing their education after they graduate from Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology.
We created pathways – through articulation agreements with other colleges and universities – to support students interested in transferring their credits to another college or university after earning their associate’s degree. These pathways help simplify students’ transition as they prepare to earn a bachelor’s degree.
“The College Transfer Fair gives students a chance to meet with representatives face-to-face in a very casual setting,” said George Colon, Career Services Coordinator. “This type of event also allows students to practice their communication skills prior to entering the workforce. The experience gained by attending a smaller event translates very well to the job interview setting.”
Seven colleges and universities participated in the fair: Central Penn College, Drexel University, Eastern Mennonite University, Millersville University, Penn State University, Pennsylvania College of Technology, and Stevenson University.
