At the October 1 Board of Trustees meeting, Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology honored several individuals for their remarkable contributions to the College and the community.
President Pedro A. Rivera II, Ed.D., received a special commendation in recognition of his recent completion of his doctorate degree. Having served as president since the fall of 2020, Rivera has been a key leader in advancing the college’s mission of providing equitable education pathways and workforce development opportunities.
Maryann Marotta was commended via a proclamation for her dedicated service as a past Board of Trustees member and former Board Chair. Marotta’s contributions were instrumental in fostering educational growth, enhancing community connections, and furthering the college’s strategic vision during her years of service. Her commitment to education and community leadership has left a lasting impact on the institution.
Chip Cargas, another dedicated former Board of Trustees member, was also honored for his service with a proclamation.
