Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology has expanded its articulation agreement with Penn State Harrisburg, creating additional pathways for students to continue their education. Students who complete general education courses at Thaddeus Stevens can now transfer credits toward a bachelor of science degree in human development and family studies at Penn State Harrisburg.
As part of its mission, Thaddeus Stevens College focuses on providing access to education for underserved populations. The expanded agreement supports this goal by offering students a seamless transition to further their education beyond their associate degree. President Pedro Rivera, II, Ed.D., of Thaddeus Stevens College, highlighted the importance of these partnerships in creating diverse educational pathways, allowing graduates to continue onto more advanced degrees and careers.
Penn State Harrisburg Chancellor David Callejo Pérez emphasized that this partnership empowers students to build on their technical education and explore new opportunities. Students transferring must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 at Thaddeus Stevens and complete the admissions process, with the application fee waived.
