Additional All-Conference Honors Also Awarded
In a testament to Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology’s commitment to developing well-rounded student-athletes, first-year offensive lineman Matt Eisenhower has been named the 2024 Seaboard Conference Player of the Year. The Cedar Cliff High School graduate’s outstanding performance helped drive the Bulldogs to an undefeated 3-0 conference record during the 2023-24 season.
“Matt exemplifies the dedication and excellence we strive for in our Bulldog community,” said Head Football Coach Johnnie Hicks, Jr. “He had an outstanding year for us, recording 32 pancake blocks, calling all of our protections, and demonstrating remarkable durability by never missing a snap.”
The recognition extends beyond Eisenhower’s individual achievement, as nine Bulldogs earned All-Conference honors. Running back Travontai Davis from Pottsville High School shared Co-Offensive MVP honors with Eisenhower, highlighting the team’s offensive prowess this season.
The strong showing in conference honors reflects the college’s broader mission of transforming lives through comprehensive educational experiences. Our student-athletes balance rigorous technical education with competitive athletics, preparing them for success both on and off the field.
First Team All-Conference selections include offensive standouts Jude Grzywinski (Nasir Gooden (Running Back, West Philadelphia High School) and Nazire Johnson (Quarterback, Benjamin Franklin High School). The defensive unit was well-represented with Darrell Chapman (Defensive Back, Overbrook High School), Ryder Kyle (Defensive Back, Elkhorn North High School), Ryan Souder (Linebacker, Daniel Boone High School), and Heath Williams (Defensive End, Downingtown West High School) all earning First Team honors. Amir Messaoudi (Offensive Lineman, Central Dauphin East High School) rounded out the Bulldogs’ selections with Second Team Offense recognition.
The Bulldogs finished the season with a 4-5 overall record, demonstrating competitive spirit and determination throughout their campaign. These achievements on the field complement Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology’s commitment to providing a complete college experience while preparing students for successful futures.
