Open House - Answers to FAQs
Our Spring Open House is Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. During this time, you'll have opportunities to meet our faculty, learn about our commitment to student success, and get a feel for campus life.
To help you prepare for your visit, answers to some common questions are below:
Where should I start?
Good question! There is so much to explore during your visit with us. The event begins with a welcome inside our Multipurpose Activity Center (MAC) at 9 a.m. Check in begins at 8:30 a.m.
From there, we recommend you visit the program(s) you are interested in! Within the program spaces, you'll have opportunities to interact with faculty, current students, alumni, and industry professionals.
We'll have lots of other things to see and do during Open House, too, including a Student Services Expo, various info sessions, food trucks, and more! Details will be outlined in the official program (COMING SOON).
How can I find where the programs I’m interested in are located?
The College has five locations, so you will want to make sure you visit all of the programs that interest you while you are at that location before moving on to the next location. Plan your route to make the most of your time at the locations you visit. Access a list of our locations, and the programs at each location.
Free shuttle service will also be available during the Spring Open House. Shuttles will depart from the Main Campus and run until 12:45 p.m.
Can I visit a program if I did not list it on my open house registration?
Yes! We encourage you to visit your top three programs, but if you see other programs that interest you, please stop in. Access a list of all of our locations, and the programs that are located at each of those locations.
Our labs and shops will be open from 9:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Faculty will be in their labs and shops during those hours and welcome your visit to share information about their program.
What do I do when I arrive at any of the college's locations after the welcome in the MAC building?
Staff will be near the main entrance of each of our locations to greet you and answer any questions you may have.
Our admissions team will be present at an info table located in the food truck court on our main campus - plan to stop by! We will also have staff at each location should you have any questions or need assistance when visiting one of our other locations.
Do all of the locations offer the same information?
No, they do not. Each location houses several programs.
We encourage you to spend time on our Main Campus (750 East King Street in Lancaster) for the following:
- Student Services Expo - LRC
- Information sessions - LRC
- Food truck court - behind the LRC
- Application Café – LRC Lower Level Computer Lab and Orange Street Commons
Will the College provide shuttle service between the locations for the Open House?
Yes! The Open House shuttles will leave from Main Campus and will be clearly marked for visitors. We will have staff available to ensure guests are on the correct shuttle, going to the correct location.
Open House attendees may also drive themselves, as parking is available at each location.
Will the dorms be open? How can I learn about campus housing and residential life?
The dorms will not be open during the open house. However, you can learn more about campus housing and residence life by attending one of their information sessions during the open house. Residence Life information sessions will take place in the lower level of the LRC at 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.
What is the address for each location?
Access the addresses of each of our locations, along with a list of programs that are located there. The labs and shops will be open during the Open House from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where do I park at each location?
Access location and parking information. We also offer a Campus Map.
What if I have questions while at the Open House?
Staff will be available at each location near the main entrance, ready to answer any questions you may have.
