The road to college can sometimes seem overwhelming. There is so much communication, planning, coordination, and prep. We know parents, caregivers, and families are often helping to support incoming and current students as they follow this path. And it’s your support that can be crucial to a student’s success! Financial Aid
More than 90 percent of students are able to attend Thaddeus Stevens College because of our robust financial aid – it’s part of our mission to advance equitable access to education. Learn more about our financial aid process.

Academics
Programs
Thaddeus Stevens College boasts programs to meet the needs of many different students. Here, you will find hands-on trade degrees, technical focused degree tracks, business-oriented programs, applied sciences, certificate options, and short-term training broken into courses as short as six weeks or as long as six months. Our programs are directly connected to the workforce, providing opportunities for high-demand jobs with wages to help families thrive.
Our Campus
Getting Around
With five locations and a Main Campus full of historic buildings, athletics facilities, residence halls, and student support, we know it takes time to become familiar with the layout of each space you and your student need to get to know. We’ve created details for each building and location on our Campus Map page.
Meals
Students who reside in residence halls at Thaddeus Stevens College are required to have a meal plan, and commuters have the option of a meal plan. The College has a dining hall on the Main Campus, a grille on the Main Campus, and a café at Griscom Education Center. Learn more about campus dining.
Housing
Thaddeus Stevens College provides housing for around 50 percent of our students. Our residence halls are located on the Main Campus, at the Griscom Education Center, and in a hall housed on the campus of Millersville University.
Safety
The College maintains a security presence available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There are set locations on both Main Campus and Griscom Education Center, and security personnel are regularly on-site throughout our five locations. They can be reached at any hour of the day at 717-391-7225. The College also maintains safety and security reports per regulations.
Academic Support
At Thaddeus Stevens College, we take the success and support of our students seriously, to prepare them to excel while they are here and beyond. We feature many academic supports, including our Accessibility Office, Academic Center, Academic Coaches, tutoring, and more.
Student Support
We not only support students academically, but also holistically in their time here. Our student supports include clubs and activities, health services, connections to careers including resume prep and interview practicing, IT help, and a food pantry, clothing closet, and hygiene items accessible in Thad’s Resource Center.
Mental Health
Thriving in college requires support and attention to mental and emotional health. Thaddeus Stevens College has an in-house counselor ready and available to support students with mental health needs.
Accessibility
With our mission to create equitable access to education, making sure students can access the right learning and other supports in an accessible way is paramount. Our Accessibility Office is available and works directly with many throughout our campus to ensure students have exactly what they need, following documentation and regulations.
Career Services
The College’s Career Services office creates an environment of future success for students. The office hosts career and internship fairs, connects students directly with hiring companies, maintains job and internship postings, and supports students to help them prepare resumes and practice for interviews. This office works closely with employers throughout the state to create opportunities and connections for students and supports students in a rewarding career.
