Why Thaddeus Stevens College
Come to a place where you can be in high demand.
Here at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, you’ll experience:
- Faculty with direct industry experience—you’ll learn from people who have lived this career, and they’ll better equip you because of it.
- Staff and faculty who care not just about getting through the day or the class, but about seeing you thrive – both in college and after you graduate.
- This is hands-on, practical learning. You won’t be sitting at a desk all day. It’s collaboration, skill building, and applied sciences in action.
- A path to meaningful work. Our students aren’t just passing time, they’re making an impact.
- Direct connections to the workforce. You’ll find hiring employers in lab spaces eager to engage with students and starting hiring conversations as early as your first semester on campus. In 2024, there were job opportunities available for each of our graduates.
- Career pipelines with good pay. The median first-year salary for our graduates is $52,500.
- Activities to bring your community to life. Whether through intramurals, athletic games, or our dozens of student clubs and events, you’ll find others to share the experience with.
- Options for commuters and living on-campus. Not every two-year college offers on-campus housing, but we have several residence halls with enough room for about half of our student population to live in. And we offer shuttle services regularly between our five college locations, all within a few minutes drive of each other.
