Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology Announces New Scholarship
Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology announced a new scholarship for students pursuing a career in the computer technology field. Reyna Information Technology Services, LLC, funded the “Reyna Information Technology Services (Reyna ITS) Scholarship” to support and advance the information technology field.
“Reyna ITS is proud to offer this scholarship in partnership with Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology to support education for economically disadvantaged individuals and provide them with opportunities to enter a demanding workforce. Active collaboration between educational institutions and the public is critical in the transformation of our community,” said Patricia Bryner, Managing Director, Reyna Information Technology Services.
The recipient of the scholarship will be enrolled in the Computer Software Engineering or Computer Network Systems Administration program at Thaddeus Stevens College. First preference is given to a female student to encourage women to pursue a career in information technology. Recipients must be from the central Pennsylvania region including Lancaster, Berks, Chester, Dauphin, Lebanon, and York counties.
