Early Enrollment Celebration
Lancaster, PA - Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology celebrated 30 early enrollment students for completing their first year at the College while still attending high school.
The Early Enrollment program offers qualifying students the opportunity to complete their freshman year at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology while still seniors in high school. Early Enrollment is a fully immersive program where students can start earning their degree in any of Thaddeus Stevens’s 22 high-demand, high-wage majors.
"Working with early enrollment students this past year has been incredibly rewarding. Their energy and enthusiasm were always appreciated and enjoyable," says Megan Dancause, Assistant Director of Enrollment Services, "I admire their dedication to leaving high school a year early and put their goal of education and a career path first."
These innovative, technical-based majors train students for many different job opportunities, providing knowledge and skills that help graduates excel in their lives—professionally and personally. Many graduates receive multiple job offers before receiving their degree and have options to pursue higher degrees at four-year colleges and universities. Early Enrollment differs from Dual Enrollment, in which high school faculty teaches specific TSCT courses at a student’s home high school or CTC.
These students have officially completed their first year at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology and earned college credits.
Now they'll go back to high school, put on their cap and gown, and walk the stage taking a step forward as they prepare for work and for life.
