Pedro Rivera Named to Labor Power 100 List
City & State PA, a publication dedicated to covering state and local government Pennsylvania, has announced Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology’s President Pedro Rivera as a leader on its Labor Power 100 list for 2023.
The state’s emphasis on inclusivity has brought new energy and voices to the state’s storied industries, and Pennsylvania continues to be a beacon of opportunity and a stronghold of organized labor, according to the list.
President Rivera is known for championing equity and opportunity at Thaddeus Stevens College and throughout his career. Our College’s mission is to serve historically disadvantaged students. Native to Philadelphia, President Rivera also serves on Pennsylvania’s state Board of Education, chairing the Board’s Council of Higher Education.
