TSCT Track & Field Headed to 2017 NJCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field Championships

    Lancaster, PA - Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology Track & Field team will be headed to Howard Community College in Columbia, Maryland to compete in the 2017 NJCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The meet will be held May 11-13 and will be streamed live with FloTrack.

    The Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology Track & Field team will be competing on Friday, May 12. Once qualified, the will compete in Finals on Saturday May 13th with an awards presentation.

    Devin Steigerwalt, 2nd Year in Machine Tool & Computer Aided Manufacturing will be competing in Javelin at 4:00 PM. Devin placed 5th place at National last season.

    Sondra MacNeal, 1st Year in Cabinetmaking & Wood Technology, will be competing in the 800 M run at 5:30 PM.

    Ray Reyes, 1st Year in Architectural Technology, will also be competing in the 800 M at 5:45 PM. “My dream career is to become an architect and one days design and build my own house to my specifications,” he said. “What I like about Thaddeus Stevens is the small class sizes and the loving staff.”

    “One thing I enjoy about track & field is the team bonding experience, which makes it feel like a second family,” Reyes said. “I enjoy the traveling, and the scenery while running.”
